Overrun goods

Definition:
When a producer has authorization from an IPR holder to produce goods but exceeds the quantity, the excess goods are "overrun goods."

Universal Copyright Convention

Definition:
The UCC was created in 1952 through UNESCO to provide an international multilateral copyright treaty; the UCC remains significant in the countries that are UCC but not Berne Union members.

Descriptive Mark

Definition:

Definition:

Definition:
A term that refers to both a product's geographic origin and to its distinctive product characteristics caused by particular geographic conditions or methods of production.

Design Patent

Definition:
A government grant of exclusive rights in a novel, nonobvious, and ornamental industrial design. A design patent confers the right to exclude others from making, using, or selling designs that closely resemble the patented design.
